Who is Ian Bagg and what has he done? Ian was born in a little town of Terrace B.C. Canada. In the year that the Vancouver Canucks lost to the New York Rangers in the Stanly Cup Playoffs, a year better known as 1994, he began doing stand up comedy. After moving to New York City, he quickly became a regular at all the major comedy clubs. After a short three years in New York, Ian had made three appearances on NBC’s Late Night With Conan O’Brien Show, rocked HBO’s US Comedy Arts Festival, and destroyed the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

As predicted, Los Angeles came calling. Soon after moving, he had made appearances in independent movies and sitcoms. He has worked as a correspondent for MySpace, hosted Ripe TV’s The Hollywood Burn and even had his own live talk show The Ian Bagg Show. He’s added credits like NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and CBS’s The Late Late Show. He was the subject of HBO’s documentary A Comic’s Climb and he had his own half hour comedy special on Comedy Central (leading him to dating Britney Spears for three days). In love with the art of stand up, he was thrilled when The History Channel asked him to be a part of their special, The History of the Joke.

Ian has done shows in China, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and all over North America, keeping his frequent flier points high and his knowledge of the world sharp. Al Gore described his comedy as “controlled chaos,” President Reagan on his death bed described it as an “interactive delight.” Nancy agreed. Do not miss your chance to see Ian.
